We’re closed Monday and Tuesday but open at Noon on Wednesday for the last week of The Store! Don’t miss it. This Wednesday the 24th at 7pm is the Philippe Blanc Lecture: “The Strategy of Sur-Distinction: building a cathedral inside the megastore” (a lecture loosely based on his work for sale at The Store, “I Win, You Lose: The art of Art in capitalist culture”). And Thursday the 25th from 5-7pm is Pie by Kay Hutchinson – last chance for pie!

The Ever Changing Art at Store for a Month
We’re starting our 3rd week at The Store when we open at Noon today. Stop by soon as the month is going fast. Also this Thursday the 18th I will be giving a presentation at 6pm at the Artemis Cafe across the street from the Store to talk a bit about the idea and about Claes Oldenburg’s original Store from 1961. A field trip back across the street to The Store follows the presentation. Click on the “Events” page above for other events happening for the rest of the month – there will be a lecture at The Store by Philippe Blanc on the 24th and some more pie!
